The Rasan is a mobile robot with an anthropomorphic arm, designed for the autonomous sanitation. The project was created by Easy Automation srl, a company specialized in industrial automation.
The robot consists of 4 control units, the first for the management of the mobile base, with the ability to generate maps and navigate autonomously using the information of the installed safety laser scanners and 3D cameras for managing obstacles. three-dimensional. The second control unit manages the anthropomorphic arm which is used for spraying even complex surfaces.
The third control unit is based on AI for face recognition and, if too close to the robot, to block the dispensing of material. The fourth control unit is used for the management of the PC and web interface for the management of the robot movements.
