Maker Faire Rome has always been one of my favorite shows. It brings makers, hobbyists and enthusiasts of all ages and genres together in one place. The ability to show the newest technology and the coolest STEM products is something that can’t be done to this caliber anywhere else. We at DigiKey are lucky to be a part of this great maker event.

H10 - Extreme low power SOM for energy harvesting ISM radio sensor applications
H10 is a SOM module based on the Microchip SAM R35 microprocessor (Cortex M0 Class) equipped with LoRa Radio and a power management circuitry so optimized as to obtain practically unique low-absorption performances. The energy storage technology is based on a hybrid supercap technology and the use of very high performance solar panels that allow the creation of sensors capable of operating in environments that are not too bright or illuminated for short periods.
Roberto Asquini
Roberto Asquini, born in 1961, co-founder together with Sergio Tanzilli of Acme Systems srl, has been designing and manufacturing embedded Linux modules and boards since 2005. The H10 project derives from research in the sector of low-absorption modules lasting about 7 years and carried out together to his son Amedeo Asquini and to the software developer Antonio Galea
