What we already thought would be a fun trip turned out to be so much more: the love and enthusiasm of the exhibitors, attendees and Maker Faire Rome’s team for innovation, education, and general celebration of the maker movement was awe-inspiring. There is so much to see that a single year in attendance is not enough, so if you ever get the opportunity, head to this show, soak in the sea of inventions, and make some great friends along the way.

WEEE Open
We are a team of students from the Politecnico di Torino. We recover broken hardware, take apart the scrap and extract good components in order to install open source software and donate to nonprofit organization. We develop useful software and hardware project to support our activity and we can teach you how to do all these things.
WEEE Open
WEEE Open Team was born with the ambitious goal of solving some of the problems of the Politecnico di Torino, such as reducing the environmental footprint of the Campus and introducing a more hands-on learning approach to our study courses. Our mission is encouraging the reuse and repair of electronic devices, taking advantage of the immense value they can bring to learning, and supporting open-source software and hardware.
