ATHENA

ATHENA is an intelligent system that supports the management and creation of cultural content.
ATHENA exploits generative neural models and semantic approaches for natural language generation (NLG) to promote the adoption of digital technologies with a high level of accessibility, through the application of inclusive representation formats. The aim is improving users' experience in their fruition of cultural heritage and providing unexplored perspectives and meanings of cultural content, considered a relational, social, communicative and shared asset. ATHENA allows the optimization of the cultural content and textual data from Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums.

Maria Pia di Buono, Raffaele Manna, Giulia Speranza

Maria Pia di Buono is assitant professor at the University of Naples "L'Orientale". Her research interests include language technologies, linguistic and terminological resources creation, knowledge management and machine translation.
Raffaele Manna is a PhD and specialist in language technologies and in the development of artificial intelligence systems. His research interests include stylometry and content generation as well.
Giulia Speranza is a PhD and expert in the creation and management of terminological resources and corpora, mainly devoted to the cultural heritage domain. She also investigates multilingualism and translation research topics.
