Retrogaming Area
Insert Coin Association tells the story of video games by preserving and restoring consoles and video games that have contributed to the development of the video game sector. The 20 stations set up give all visitors the opportunity to try their hand at challenges to the most iconic titles in the history of video games from its origins to today. The historical recovery work also involves the reconstruction of the first videogame experiments such as Tennis for Two and Space War.
Associazione Insert Coin APS
Associazione Insert Coin was born in 2019 from an idea of its President Nicolò Mulas Marcello, with the aim of disseminating and preserving all the tools that have contributed to writing the history of video games (consoles, video games, prototypes, memorabilia, etc..) . Author of the book "The Gaming Evolution: the history of video games from 1958 to today", Nicolò Mulas Marcello is also director of the Videogame Art Museum, the video game museum in Bologna.
