DIY Finger Sensing Glove For Keyboard-Free Typing

DIY Finger Sensing Glove For Keyboard-Free Typing

In the digital age, typing is an essential part of life - on phones, laptops, and computers. As a result, arthritis and other wrist-related disabilities make navigating a digital world difficult - especially for aging citizens. I have developed the prototype for the world's first "Finger Tracking" glove designed to replace a keyboard entirely. Letters on the keyboard are mapped to each digit in a rotating fashion and the electronics are light enough to fit comfortably on the hand. This simple, Bluetooth-compatible glove can be used for typing, gaming, robotics, and disability assistance!
