What we already thought would be a fun trip turned out to be so much more: the love and enthusiasm of the exhibitors, attendees and Maker Faire Rome’s team for innovation, education, and general celebration of the maker movement was awe-inspiring. There is so much to see that a single year in attendance is not enough, so if you ever get the opportunity, head to this show, soak in the sea of inventions, and make some great friends along the way.

Light Air tag game
Tag games are fun, like making. So we re-made tag to maximize the fun.
Light Air is a completely new game platform, based on IOT technology and a novel opto-electronic concept. It is planned to play easily, quickly and everywhere. And did we mention it's Open to allow you design your own game?
Piero Lovato
I am an electronics and optical engineer, and I love tinkering with all sorts of stuff.
I've always been an enthusiast of Open Source and new technologies, especially interested on their possible use. I love to learn to use new tools, both theoretical and practical ones, as I'm often amazed by how many are available to everyone, and what it is possible to do with them.
