Designed by Geo Florenti, artist and innovator on the field of electrical technologies, in collaboration with the division of Smart Energies of Enea and the Design school of the Politecnic of Milan, it will be applied as a pilot in the L.B. Alberti institute of Rome, thanks to the efforts of the School Director, the architect Loredana Cavalieri. The project is financed with the PON funds "Green Labs, sustainable and innovative for the schools of the second cicle" of the MI, it will launch in October 2022 with the objective of concretely involving all the students in every operative phases and with the objective of applying and replicating it in every schools. In the Manifestation of Rome the young students of quadriennal Class 1 ECS (Circular Economy and Sustainabilty). They are fourteen years old, the team Generazione A of students of the Alberti who, on the occasion of Maker Faire 2022, will present an illumination technology with zero energy consumption to shine a light on these dark ages that will reach up to those older than them.
to the manifestation the students will bring Solar Indoor and Solar Direct, a technology that was taken from the project Alberti Hybrid. It is an technic illumination technology versatile and of new design, with zero energy consumption and little raw materials used for the components, made just for these times of lack of raw materials and energy. During the Kermesse's the students will present a light box displaying the logo of the Maker Faire. Within the light box are placed 36 Led's of 3.2V and 20MA (the best type of led's for Consumption/work/price), one every 5 cm squared, that project a light on the white background which will reflect an amplified white and homogenous light. The energy necessary to turn on the led's is generated by a Silicium monocrystalline cell just 5X10 cm wide, placing it beside an artificial light source in use, solar Indoor, or exposing it to direct sunlight, Solar Direct. Accumulators or electric components are not used and the energy generated by the photovoltaic cell is directed instantanuesly to the led's. Solar Indoor and Solar Direct can be used in many ways such as: Signs, Street Lights, publicity light, indoor lighting or places that need to be illuminated during the day, street signs, Christmas decorations and Christmas trees, charging smartphones and notebooks (without a power source), Lighting in tunnels just to name a few.

Tecnico Quadriennale ECS - Economia Circolare e Sostenibilità - Istituto Superiore ALBERTI di ROMA

The students that will be most involved in the realization of the Alberti Hybrid project currently attend the first class of the ECS Quadrennial Technician - Circular Economy and Sustainability of the IISS ALBERTI in ROME.
However, the students of the Fashion System Course have already worked on the project through the Alberti Fashion Hybrid performance on the E-Village stage during the Formula E Rome E-Prix 2022 world championship, where they proposed a Fashion & Wearables version of the project.
The laboratories will also be open to the first class of the CAT Course (Construction, Environment and Territory) given the specific “Green CAT” curvature.
