FRELP BY SUN - Full Recovery End of Life Photovoltaic BY the energy of the SUN
"FRELP BY SUN" PROJECT CONSISTS OF AN INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR THE RECOVERY OF THE COMPONENTS OF THE PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS AT THE END OF LIFE WITH AN EXPECTED REUSE OF 97% BY WEIGHT AND A REFUSAL OF ONLY 3%.
THE RESULTS RESULTING FROM THE ENTRY IN FUNCTION OF THE OPERATIONAL EXPERIMENTAL DEVELOPMENT PLANT IN MOTTALCIATA (BI) ARE:
- RECOVERY OF 16% OF ALUMINUM;
- RECOVERY OF 61% OF FIRST QUALITY GLASS;
- RECOVERY OF 4% OF SECOND QUALITY GLASS;
- RECOVERY OF 16% OF SANDWICH CONTAINING 1/3 OF METALLIC SILICON;
- CONFERENCE TO SPECIAL NON-DANGEROUS REFUSAL OF 3%.
THE MOST IMPORTANT TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION OF THE EXPERIMENTAL PLANT CONSISTS OF A PATENTED DEVICE FOR THE DETACHMENT OF THE GLASS FROM THE SANDWICH, WHICH ALLOWS: ON THE ONE SIDE TO HAVE RECYCLED GLASS OF GOOD QUALITY, AND ON THE OTHER SIDE TO HAVE A SANDWICH THAT CONTAINS ALL THE SILICON AND CAN BE RECYCLED IN THE STEEL INDUSTRY.
