Poloplasma was founded in 2017 to research and develop indoor air decontamination systems which guarantee very high and controlled levels of purification, decontamination and sterilization. Heart of the business is a cold SDBD plasma technology, in combination with advanced sensors and controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV) systems.
This technology allows for a wide range of applications, which has become even wider during the current pandemic period, when the problems related to the bacterial and viral charge have seriously been taken into account; during the last years two systems have been fully developed: Airplasma ECOD (Electronic Controlled Decontamination) IS, more suitable for the sterilization of special confined environments, and ECOD CR more suitable for the decontamination of manufacturing and civil environments and healthcare facilities, each with their own specific hardware and software applications.
