The idea of this project is to improve the 3D printing FDM tecnique modifying the printing angle between the printers vertical axis and the gravity axis. with this change printing object with critical angle will become possible without using support material, so obtaining perfect printed surface without any tipe of refinements made later. It was already tested 180 degrees rotated printing to obtain object geometrically complex and hard to print in traditional way.
Marco Baruzzo is a young physicist-in-training passionate with 3D printers. He works as assistant at the ICTP Scientific FabLab.
