CREM - Sistemi robotici cooperanti per l'acquisizione di dati ambientali in aree confinate.

CREM - Sistemi robotici cooperanti per l'acquisizione di dati ambientali in aree confinate.

This system consists of a swarm of cooperating robots for environmental monitoring and data acquisition (humidity, temperature, gas, dust, etc.) in confined areas. Mobile units' positioning and interconnection depend on the GPS coordinates of the master robot. The swarm's movements can be remotely piloted in automatic or semi-automatic mode. The data acquired by several types of sensors can be locally stored on the single units, and
sent to different storing locations by wireless transmission systems (XBee, RF, Bluetooth), using a JSON format.
