Discover the treasures of historical, archaeological and cultural of Sabina and Reatino: ASCReS Project consists of a database of documents, a 3D GIS - which allows the display in three dimensions of the territory - and a series of three-dimensional models of objects and environments. You can then image small virtual travel through time and space, and provide an informative infrastructure for the creation of real paths involving the several entities in the area. A scientific project that combines modern technology and principles of edutainment, at the service of community.

Umberto Longo

Umberto Longo (Rome 1967) works as Assistant Professor in Medieval History Researcher for the University La Sapienza of Rome. He teaches Medieval History. From 2009 he coordinates the Percorso di eccellenza in Scienze storiche (CdL Scieze storiche, Fac. Scienze Umanistiche). From 2011 he is director of the Master in Digital Heritage. Cultural communication through digital techologies. He is member of the Teaching Body of the History Doctorate School of Dipartimento di Storia, culture, religioni Sapienza-Università di Roma. He is member of the SISMED (The Italian Society of Medieval Historians), from which he has also been entrusted with the duty of Treasurer. He is vice president of the AISSCA (Associazione italiana per lo studio della santità, dei culti e dell’agiografia), member of the Società Romana di Storia Patria and of the Deputazione di storia patria per l’Umbria. He is member of the editorial staff of Reti Medievali, iniziative on-line per gli studi medievistici and of the editorial board of Dizionario biografico degli italiani dell’Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana fondata da Giovanni Treccani and of Bullettino dell’Istituto storico italiano per il medioevo.
