LOfficina association is young, dynamic company that puts science at the center. People who are part of share and merge their humanistic knowledge and engineering, because sure that diversity is an inexhaustible source of creativity.

The "do" and "create" declined in several areas, are the protagonists of this adventure. Conceive, design, implement, recycle, words that turn into instruments, workshops and activities: science shared.

The areas in which it operates LOfficina are many and each is highly interconnected with others. For example, his side Makers focuses on the design and implementation Exhibit (electrostatic generators, Planetary optomechanical, interactive platforms, walls of synthetic rock ...) and is strongly associated with another area that is very tied LOfficina ie Science Communication, aimed at schools, teachers, companies, public events and exhibitions.


On the occasion of "Makers Faire" LOfficina exposes her Planetarium 1500 stars, the result of a complex, but very rewarding. The first step was to provide a numerical control machine with corresponding software for the perforation of the projection sphere of the stars, then move on to electronics and mechanics required for assembly of the machine. Finally it was realized the inflatable dome of 5 meters in diameter to carry out astronomical activities with the public.

In addition to the Planetarium, on the occasion of "Makers Faire", also expose some of the Exhibit of our production linked to the world of electrostatic and electricity, such as replicas of ancient electrostatic generators, because we believe that understanding the past, leading to understanding the present and accordingly to design the future.


During the fair at the stand of LOfficina you can attend and participate in scientific performance where you will use the exhibits related to the field electricity.

While as regards the Planetarium will be illustrated throughout the process of realization of the machine, also it will be presented the operation of a small portable projection device (accessory usable during activities in astronomical dome) which allows to project on the celestial images of the constellations increasing or reducing the size so that they correspond with the stars cast by the planetarium.
