It is Italy’s leading water company, providing services roughly 9 million people
and having equity interests in companies operating in Lazio, Tuscany, Umbria
and Campania. The Group distributes roughly 11 TWh of electricity. Acea sells
approximately 13 TWh of electricity. It provides environmental services,
treating more than 700,000 tonnes of waste a year.
The Group’s activities include integrated water services (drinking water,
sewerage and water treatment), energy production, the sale and distribution of
electricity, public lighting and floodlighting, waste disposal and waste-toenergy
production.
